About Teflon Vulp
Please Read More About Teflon Coating Before You Buy
Ceramic coating and Teflon are both coatings that add vibrancy, charm, and safety to balisongs. When compared to ceramic coatings, Teflon boasts superior adhesion, minimizing the occurrence of extensive peeling. We believe Teflon is the optimal coating material for balisongs, particularly in our mission to make well-balanced metal balisongs suitable for public use. To achieve this, we have implemented a comprehensive Teflon coverage design, imparting a delightful toy-like aesthetic while reducing the metallic sensation. However, it is important to note that this approach may result in some inevitable coating peeling at the collision points, such as the contact between the zinpin and the blade. Such occurrences are intrinsic to the material's characteristics.

Why Teflon Vulps are So Solid?
When it comes to the manufacturing process, we've made some key upgrades to maintain the Vulp's precision while amping up the Teflon coating.
First off, we custom-made some extra masking screws. This prevents the coating process from messing with the accuracy. We also precisely controlled the coated surfaces of the screws during the spraying to keep things dialed in.
As for the bushings and blades, we really sweated the details there too. The bushings in the Teflon Vulp line are completely interchangeable, so no extra machining is needed to maintain the thickness. And the blades? Also fully interchangeable. You can swap them out without worrying about any tuning changes.
So in the end, you get a Teflon Vulp that's built like a tank - the precision is locked in, and the coating is rock-solid. All the little extras we put in really add up to make one heck of a high-performance solid balis.
A message from Will Hirsch
I worked very hard to create this trainer with all of the design features I would have wanted when learning. Lots of testing was done by me, my friends, or just random balisong community members. I took as much feedback as I could and I am honestly very proud of the final version. I hope you enjoy it too!
